Arenig and 8b+

July 2019 Pete Robbins finally linked all of the traverses on the Bryn Dyfrgi, starting on the extreme left and continuing the full length of the wall to reach the 7b Martin Crocker route on the extreme right up which Pete climbed before pulling right to the large pocket and topping out on the pedestal. This now comes in at the astonishing grade 8b+ making it by far the hardest traverse problem in mid Wales, at least!

Martin Crook  also added another hard traverse at 7B  which has a sit start several metres to the left of the final boulder on the right and continues around a prow with increasing difficulty on slopers to clamber up onto the Hero pedestal.
